Fire dampers provide an automatic means of localising areas of fire ventilation. They have fire resistance class K90 and are suitable for installation in walls and ceilings. The damper installation is independent of air flow direction.
The fusible link release mechanism can be removed from the outside for easy inspection.
The thermal release (automatic fire damper closure) is triggered by a fusible link parting at a temperature >72° C. There is also an optional release mechanism using additional solenoid or an electrical spring return actuator.
