Wolfgang Hucek (39) will be the new managing director of Trox Austria as of November 2020. Hucek is thus responsible for the markets Austria and CEE (Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Slovenia) for the world market leader in the field of ventilation and air-conditioning systems. Karl Palmstorfer, Managing Director of TROX Austria since 2016, will become Head of International Business Europe, Middle East and Africa on March 1, 2021, but is already handing over operational management to Wolfgang Hucek. "With Wolfgang Hucek, we have found the perfect addition to our strong management team. With experience from various industries, TROX Austria will take the next important steps in service and digitalization under his leadership." Palmstorfer is pleased.

Wolfgang Hucek studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and international marketing in Kiev, and was most recently authorized signatory and head of category management for the energy division at Frauenthal Service AG. "I am looking forward to continuing the impressive development of Trox Austria with a motivated and successful team," says the musical family man and long-distance swimmer Hucek about his new professional challenge.
